educator
Christina brings over a decade of experience working with students of all ages — from young beginners to seasoned professionals. She has taught voice and piano to students as young as five through adulthood, and at one point maintained a private studio of 40 students in Wisconsin, teaching through the Madison Music Foundry, in-home lessons, and her role as Adjunct Professor of Voice at Beloit College.
In New York, Christina spent four years on voice faculty at Highbridge Voices in the Bronx, where she worked closely with middle and high school singers on vocal technique and musical literacy. She also regularly offers private coachings in Renaissance and Baroque vocal style, with a particular emphasis in Italian ornamentation, diminution practice, and stylistic improvisation.

For the past several years, Christina has served as a facilitator for The Western Wind's adult choral workshops — including day-long and week-long intensives designed to help adult singers grow in technique, ensemble skills, musical independence, and confidence. Her work in these workshops emphasizes musical fulfillment and connection in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Christina also spent seven years as Workshop Administrator, Baroque Vocal Specialist, and eventually Co-Director of the Baroque Opera Workshop at Queens College, where she worked with young professionals and emerging artists seeking hands-on experience in Baroque style and movement. Her role included providing daily coachings and master classes, and assisting with staged opera scenes focused on historically informed performance practice and expressive freedom within the style.
Christina’s teaching philosophy is rooted in curiosity, healthy technique, and playful experimentation — always in service of helping each singer discover their most expressive and honest voice, wherever they are in their musical journey.
teaching philosophy
"I believe that great learning happens where structure meets freedom — where thoughtful technique is paired with joyful exploration in a space free of judgment. Whether I’m teaching piano to a five-year-old, facilitating a room full of choral singers, or guiding emerging artists in a master class setting, I aim to keep the process flexible, safe, and fun — always grounded in methodical technique and clear goals."
